You're thinking about joining us — That's awesome! We know that jumping into a new RP site can be daunting, so we've put together a checklist below to (hopefully) help the process go a bit smoother.

Step One: Get acquainted with how we do things

  1. Are you at least 21? If so, carry on! If not, check back with us when you are.
  2. Read over our Player Guidelines to make sure we jibe.
  3. Confirm you can regularly meet our Activity Requirement.
  4. Check out the Prospective Player FAQ - You might not have any questions yet, but the info is good!

Step Two: Get Started

  1. Join our Discord server - We require this, but furthermore, you can say hello, ask questions, and figure out if our vibe is really for you before creating an account on the site.
  2. Register your player account.
  3. Take a look at our Wanted and Open Canon Characters to see if anyone sparks your interest!

Step Three: Make your character a reality

  1. Register your character's account.
  2. Link your character account to your player account via the UCP.
  3. If you're applying for a canon character or have a specific FC in mind, submit any desired holds via the #admin-requests channel on Discord. Please be aware holds only last two weeks.
  4. Complete all of the required fields (in red) on your character account's profile, via the UCP. The required profile fields are your application! Please pay attention to the description for each field — This helps us avoid having to ask for revisions later.
  5. If you're feeling uncertain about your application, feel free to hit up any of the players in the Discord server with the "App Assist" role (We have them listed separately in the member list). These folks are happy to guide you through the process for success!

Step Four: Submit your application

  1. Once you have completed your application, please submit your character in the #app-submission channel in Discord. We use an automatic form to make this easier.
  2. The staff have real lives, so it may take a few days to process your app. Please be patient — We know you're excited and so are we! Five days is generally the maximum you should have to wait.
  3. ???

Holds expire in TWO WEEKS. However, we do not have a time limit on when applications may be submitted. We would rather you wait until life gives you time and energy to be active than rush you through it. Please note, though, that accounts for site canons will be archived after 30 days without a submission. This is to keep things fair for others who may be interested in the character. If you return to the character after the account has been archived and they are still available, please just submit a request for the account to be un-archived via #admin-requests in the Discord. As always, if you have extenuating circumstances, please reach out to the admin. We will work with you as best we can!

Please keep in mind that the admin reserve the right to decline holds or un-archiving if we feel our flexible policies are being abused.
