Can you believe it? 4 January will be a full month since we launched this fabulous nonsense! Welcome to your first, pared down State of the Grey, friends!

Official Site Opening
Right now, we are setting 1 February 2025 as the date we plan to open the site to anyone.- Any transfer characters will need to have their profiles completed and submitted prior to 1 February. If you need more time, please let us know.
- All characters will need to meet the Activity Check beginning in February. This sounds foreboding, but our AC is very easy to meet. Details are here.
- Any un-apped face claims and holds will expire at the end of January.
Site Themes
Grey has been made the default site theme. It is not finished — The index in particular still has many changes coming so that the forum list is more compact — but it should be fine and functional in all respects. Once the default Grey theme is complete, a light version will be added and the plain Prosilver theme will be removed as an option.You may need to clear your cache to see the latest theme changes.

Reminders
- Personal Writing forum — This has been added for all your non-location-specific in-character writing.
- Required profile fields in the UCP — These are pretty well settled now, but a LOT has changed, so please double-check before submitting your characters.
- Add appropriate tags to your threads — Older threads in particular!
- Shop work-arounds — In case you missed it, the main points/shop dev has been in the hospital for serious medical reasons. There are some bugs that make "stacking" items a real pain, so we're having to do some work-arounds for things like first free character tokens. We may have to do the same for hiatus tokens as well. You cannot at this time do points transfers between accounts, but admin can do this for you if you submit a ticket to #admin-requests. Please bear with us!
