It was still cold, cold enough that Xiao was chiding himself for his thirst for adventure and the insanity that was beginning to sink in after staying secluded in the Argyll Manor for too long. So he set onto a rather uncommon course, off to quench a very different thirst, nursing a drink surrounded by people he wasn’t entirely certain really wanted him in their eyeline. A rather ambiguous amalgamation of people, but at the lack of confrontation, he did not want to examine the people around him too much. As for the drink, Xiao wasn’t quite certain what it was, suggested by the bartender with a wave and accepted easily enough a while ago, but it burned his throat pleasantly as it went down and replaced the pink-tinted cheeks of frost and wind with a very different sort of flush, the sort that could allude to poorer decisions if the night went on in a similar fashion for too long.

His left hand, stowed away safely in his coat, fidgeted with the lining of the fabric as his right waved down the bartender and ordered another. It wasn’t like him, to be this… Xiao was uncertain how to describe it, he wasn’t a stranger to poor decisions, but usually they did not come in this specific form of vice, but it was cold, terribly cold, and perhaps Xiao was growing tired with the amount of lies he told and the ones that followed him around and nipped at his heels. To minimal detriment, for the moment, but he found himself perhaps a little more willing to play fast and loose with his morals than was typical.

Though, it was not as if Xiao had copious amounts of morality to begin with.

Besides, habits were hard to break, and Xiao was quite content with the idea of a day designated to drawing out whatever mood he was in, all to go back to the strange routine he had established tomorrow, which was all he really wanted to focus on in the moment. Though, he hardly got what he wanted, at least when it actually mattered.

Ah, the drinks were starting to get to him, Xiao supposed, regretfully, he didn’t have the greatest tolerance.
