Eoin McDaniels is a chronic fuck-up; now in his 30s, he has spent the better part of a decade in an on-and-off love affair with opium—this vice at least made him a menace primarily to himself. That is changing. The Dublin-born man is, despite his addiction, still strong as an ox and has recently joined the ranks of the Greenstreet Gang. It is not far-fetched to worry that the backing of the gang will prompt him to unleash his destructive potential on the neighbourhood, instead of directing it inwards.
Nellie Jones
Nellie Jones likes to think of herself as the greatest actress that was to ever dance across the stages of Drury Lane, Marylebone Theatre and the Old Vic, – she’s also the greatest fuck of London! Alas, whatever goes up must come down, and with her reputation straddling the line of titillating and downright scandalous she dares to run out of time to correct all that was lost. Still, at least she’s having fun.
Aoife O’Kelly
As a member of the Greenstreet Gang, Aoife is the feral child of Dublin’s grime. Without a home, a proper family and even friends she is known for threatening anyone who comes her way (but sometimes, she is known for selling caresses for food or coin). With her future survival depending on the long relationship between herself and the Gang, its safe to say that Aoife is in trouble.
Skye McDaniels
Skye is driven, sharp, and uncompromising, shaped by a harsh childhood in Dublin and a rough start in London. Raised without the safety net of a solid family, she learned quickly that the world wasn’t kind to those without power. By sixteen, she’d started making her place in London’s underbelly, first as a worker and eventually as a savvy businesswoman. Now the owner of The Moth & Lantern, Skye has turned her brothel into more than just a means of survival — it’s a stepping stone to bigger things. She values loyalty above all, especially from those closest to her, like her brother Eoin, though their relationship is complex. Skye doesn’t leave room for weakness or sentimentality; everything she does is calculated, and she’s determined to climb higher in the world, no matter the cost.
Jacob Smith
More widely known as Mr Forsythe, Jacob Smith is an illegitimate son of the late Marquess of Sligo, a medium, a performer, and a charlatan. Utilising his knack for acting, he targets wealthier relatives of recently departed and strives to make them depart with their fortunes as well. A person of dubious morality, he is out for himself and his closest associates. Jacob is determined to make his séances more popular while not getting caught.

One of the newest Lambs, Madeline is the daughter of Irish immigrants who came to London seeking a better life. Instead, they found rampant discrimination, crime, and disappointment. Madeline had little intention of following her mother into the career of a washerwoman, and so turned to petty theft. One of the people she tried to steal from ended up being Lila Scriven, who took a liking to the firebrand of a young woman. Under Lila’s tutelage, Madeline has begun to blossom into a very promising thief indeed. She is wholly devoted to the gang and its leaders. Recently her parents have begun to question the source of her suddenly much greater income, and she can only lie for so long. Right now she claims to have a wealthy beau who grants her all sorts of gifts and allowance, but how long that particular lie will last is anyone’s guess.
Timothy Anderson

An Irish immigrant, Tim has fought for everything he’s ever had. Even with the connections his adoptive father, Superintendent Joseph Warrens, Tim has worked extremely hard to prove that he is just as capable as any other member of the Met. While his birth family does have connections to the Fenians, he has done everything in his power to distance himself from them and their beliefs, including changing his surname when he moved to London. With a chip on his shoulder the size of a city block, he’s spent his entire career in the Met hiding who he is and where he came from, and endeavors to prove himself on a daily basis – even if he’s only proving himself to himself. Recently, he’s been tasked with investigating the Greenstreet Gang, the budding turf war with the Black Powders, and any possible connections there might be with Irish republican sympathizers.
Cillian Conroy

A Dublin native with a fondness for drinking and betting on losing dogs, Cillian Conroy ended up deeply in debt to the Greenstreet Gang. To help pay off that debt, he has come along to aid Sean’s takeover of Whitechapel (and perhaps beyond). When drunk, he will also claim that he is present as a friend to Sean’s father, to keep an eye on the often-impulsive lad, but who can say if that’s the truth, or just the ramblings of a man in his cups? Either way, he has Sean’s trust, and under his watchful eyes the coffers of the Greenstreet Gang have grown deep.
Blair McGee

Known to be the calm eye of Sean Donoghue’s storm, Blair is an unassuming young man. If little is known about the head of the gang, less is known about Sean’s right-hand man. Seemingly bookish and reticent, Blair came along with Sean from Ireland, and immediately made a name for himself. He does not take prisoners, he does not grant mercy, and he will let absolutely nothing come between Sean and his ambitions. It is rumored that Blair is the Greenstreet member that killed the Black Powder that kicked off the rising tensions between the two gangs.

Much is rumored of Sean Donoghue, but little is known. An Irishman who arrived in London approximately four years ago, Sean brutally took over a pre-existing Irish gang in Limehouse, killing the previous leader and replacing many of the members with his own loyalists. While there are many claims about his connections to the Irish Republican Brotherhood, and why he left Ireland, what is known for certain is that Sean Donoghue is not someone to be crossed. He currently has his eyes on the territory of the Black Powder Gang, and it’s only a matter of time before he gives the order and declares war.
