Introduction
About
I'm Chelsey, US-based, somewhat older than 34 but younger than 42. They/she, semi-funny, changeling, obsessive.I'm here because I can't not write. I'm here because all I can think about is how to write the next line that will light up someone's brain. I write with intent, with purpose, with feeling. I write in order to claw my way into the reality of something, to pick it apart, to twist it around, to knead and push and pull. I want to explore the hollowed recesses of each thread, find the story hidden between the words, and if, along the way, we happen to create something silly together—well, that's even better.

Once a promising ballerina from silk merchants in Lyons, a scandal in Paris forced her to retreat from the spotlight.
